Stephanie & Hannah Share their USA Twin Centre Holiday Story

Stephanie & Hannah travelled to the USA on our Las Vegas & San Francisco Twin Centre holiday. Here's what they had to say:

I've been lucky enough to visit the USA several times over the last 24 years or so.  New York, LA, San Francisco, Orlando, Las Vegas, Hawaii & the Caribbean are all places I love and have been to several times. 

My friend and I choose our most recent itinerary due to the fact that Vegas is our favourite place and because she had not seen much of the USA, so adding in San Francisco was a good choice to make this the perfect twin centre holiday. We liked the idea of seeing a city where there is lots to do, then just having a beach/pool holiday. 

To get the most out of our time in San Francisco we decided to pay for a two day open top bus tour, so we could hop on and off whenever we liked, which was a brilliant idea and good value for money at just $60 per person. The Carriage Inn Hotel in San Francisco was fabulous, we had a huge room on the top floor and the staff where lovely & helpful. It’s in a great location and just a 15 minute walk to Union Square & Westfields.  

The Monte Carlo in Vegas was amazing, just as you'd expect it to be and in an ideal location on the Strip. The pools & lazy river were so much fun and their buffet restaurant was good value for money.  We tried out the ice bar, which we had to ourselves and was lots of fun.

Our highlights of the Holiday would have to be the Michael Jackson Cirque du soleil show, Jennifer Lopez & the Zip Wire at the Rio Hotel.  All where amazing in their own right, good value & we have great memories to take away.

My wow moment would have to be seeing Calvin Harris at the MGM pool party, I was standing very close to him. It had such a great atmosphere and the drink variety was amazing.

Vegas is my favourite place by far as there is always so much to see and do.  Even though we were there for only six days we managed to cram a lot in. There are still things I want to go back and see & hotels I want to stay in.  There is something for everyone and at all costs.  

Funniest moment we encountered was when we were in our Hotel in Vegas trying to figure out the $1 slot machines.  I decided to empty my whole purse out into the machine and wondered why it wasn't working to be told that you can only put notes into the machines. The lady who I asked for help didn't seem impressed & had to get the floor manager over to open the machine and give me back all my change. In the end we ended up winning only $2.75.

My friend and I absolutely loved the Cheesecake Factory. So much choice, prices are great and it's the best cheesecake in the world. 

Advice to others would be - prepare to do a lot of walking, It’s the best way to come across things and saves you money. Always remember that the tax & gratuities are added on to everything so you’re not surprised when you get your bill. 

Both locations we visited where what we expected & loved every minute. We were very sad to be leaving and can't wait for our next adventure. We had no concerns what so ever when booking as we used your company last year and both Holidays where amazing.

The US is everything you'd expect it to be, Fun, great food & drink, plus amazing shopping.
