Enjoy a rock 'n' roll style holiday

Sitting in the eastern corner of Tennessee, and banked by the Mississippi River, Arkansas and Mississippi State, Memphis is a truly southern city claiming the birth of Rock and Roll and the Blues.

Southern food is something of a local passion and no holiday to Memphis would be complete without sampling at least some of the more than 100 BBQ restaurants that are located inside the city.

Things to do in Memphis

As well as once being the physical home of Elvis Presley, Memphis is the spiritual home of rock and roll music with the iconic Sun Studio, which launched the careers of some of the greatest music stars in the world including; Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and B.B. King.

Memphis is famous for its Mississippi riverboat and dinner cruises, also popular for weddings, which can be picked up from the downtown area. Visitors can also tour the world-famous Gibson factory and learn about the history behind the iconic guitar behind numerous legends of music. Southland Park Gaming and Racing offers a great night out  for adults and is only fifteen minutes from Graceland.
