Kennebunkport’s Dock Square is the main shopping area in the town, located on the river by Western Avenue and Dock Square road. It is a popular area during the day with tourists and also for evening Goose Rocks Beach is a secluded beach with around three miles of pristine coastline.

Kennebunkport enjoys a mild summer with average high temperatures in July of 24.4°C. Winters can be surprisingly cold with lows average around -11.6°C in January.
