A fun-filled island that mixes Cuban inspiration with authentic Floridan charm

The most southerly point of the US and the extreme end of the Florida keys, Key West is a beautiful, subtropical beach town that is heavily influenced by its proximity to the Caribbean and its love of the ocean.

Some of the world’s best deep sea fishing, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking in the mangroves and snorkelling all help make Key West an ocean lover’s dream come true. However, it is also famous for its love of extreme sports such as sky diving and shark adventures.

Things to do in Key West

Most travellers come to Key West to share in its love of the ocean but it also has a wealth of historical sites on offer. Famous for its deep sea fishing, scuba diving and the air hose-fed shallow water diving known as 'snuba' diving. There's also a gorgeous botanical and butterfly garden, an array of fun bars and shops to discover, and the iconic Key Lime Pie.
