Day 2
Denver - Rocky Mountain National Park - Cheyenne
Begin the day with a short city tour of Denver, known as the "Mile High City" due to its elevation. Marvel at the gold-domed State Capitol, precisely one mile above sea level on its 13th step. Next, venture into Rocky Mountain National Park, a vast area protecting stunning mountain landscapes. The highlight of the day is the exhilarating drive on Trail Ridge Road, the "Highway to the Sky," offering unparalleled views of the region's peaks and crossing the Continental Divide at 12,183 feet. Journey onward to Cheyenne, Wyoming, a city steeped in the spirit of the Old West and renowned as a railroad capital. Cheyenne – Mount Rushmore - Rapid City

Ascend the Sierra Nevada Mountains to Mammoth Lakes, a picturesque alpine resort town known for its skiing terrain and stunning mountain vistas.
*Winter Routing: The Tioga Pass may be closed due to weather or road conditions, in which case you will overnight in Fresno or Visalia and a visit to Mammoth Lakes will not be possible (winter routing applies to all departures between October and May under normal snow conditions).
