Day 2
Los Angeles - Palm Springs (107 miles)
You’ll meet with your tour group and guide in Los Angeles today for a brief orientation, before transferring to your Palm Springs hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3
Palm Springs - Joshua Tree National Park - Palm Springs
Today, delve deeper into the desert with a visit to Joshua Tree National Park. Marvel at its famed rock formations and capture the unique beauty of the Joshua trees. After exploring, return to Palm Springs, where the evening is yours to refresh and relax. Experience the park's distinctive landscape, keeping an eye out for its diverse wildlife, all with the comfort of a private vehicle. Later, unwind by your hotel pool to cool down or explore downtown Palm Springs, where trendy dining and leisure options await.

Day 4
Palm Springs - Las Vegas - Zion National Park (168 miles)
First port of call today is Las Vegas, where you’ll have time to explore the strip or enjoy a long lunch. You’ll be departing late afternoon to a hotel near Zion National Park.

Day 5
Zion National Park
In the morning, take a shuttle to Zion National Park and spend the day exploring and hiking with your group. Adorned with magnificent sandstone cliffs of pink, cream and red, alongside narrow slot canyons and diverse wildlife, this is a wonderful spot to experience. Afterwards, you’ll head to your hotel for more time at leisure.
Optional excursion: A tour of one of Utah’s best slot canyon hikes. The Narrows Hike takes you along the Virgin River, including walking in the water, so be sure to bring appropriate footwear. Hiking distance: 6.4km (4 mi) Elevation change: 102m (334 ft).

Day 6
Zion National Park - Bryce Canyon National Park (87 miles)
Leave Zion in the morning for Bryce Canyon National Park. There, you'll have the freedom to explore the unique hoodoo rock formations. Choose to wander the Queen’s Garden and Navajo Loop trails, or enjoy breathtaking views from the rim. After dinner, return to the park to witness a stunning sunset and gaze at the stars in one of the International Dark Sky Parks. Bryce Canyon offers a landscape unlike any other, with its vast forest of stone spires and natural amphitheaters. Spend your evening enjoying the wonders of the park, from Inspiration Point to the captivating hoodoos.
Option excursion: The Queen’s Garde and Navajo Loop Hike is a popular trail and is home to the park’s famous hoodoos. Hiking distance: 4.6km (2.9 mi) Elevation change: 183m (600 ft).

Day 7
Bryce Canyon National Park - Antelope Canyon - Monument Valley (156 miles)
Start the day driving to Page, Arizona, the gateway to Antelope Canyon. Once there, you’ll be joined by a Navajo guide and taken through this incredible natural sandstone slot canyon.
Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a short hike at Horseshoe Bend, overlooking the Colorado River. End your day in Monument Valley to unwind and relax.

Day 8
Monument Valley - Grand Canyon (155 miles)
Wake early this morning for a sunrise Navajo guided jeep tour of Monument Valley. After soaking up the sunrise, you’ll move on to the Grand Canyon, stopping on route for lunch at a family-owned Navajo food truck. Your meal here helps give back to the community. You’ll arrive at the Grand Canyon in time for sunset.

Day 9
Grand Canyon National Park
Today will be spent exploring the South Rim, choosing from a selection of hikes that showcase this incredible canyon. You could even opt to book an optional helicopter tour for a bird’s eye view.

Day 10
Grand Canyon - Las Vegas (285 miles)
Journey to the bright lights of Las Vegas and spend the day and evening exploring the strip.

Day 11
Las Vegas - Death Valley - Bakersfield (143 miles)
In the morning you will depart Las Vegas for Death Valley. Known as the land of extremes, this is the hottest and driest national park in the USA, and you can explore the Furnace Creek, Badwater Basin and Zabriskie Point.

Day 12
Bakersfield - Sequoia National Park - Visalia (130 miles)
The morning will be spent travelling to Sequoia National Park, where you’ll spend the afternoon hiking and marvelling at the tallest trees in the world. Be sure to walk down to General Sherman to see the world ‘s largest tree at a whopping 275ft high.

Day 13
Visalia - Sequoia National Park - Visalia (70 miles)
Spend the whole day hiking in this beautiful park. For 360-degree views, embark on the two mile round-trip along the Buena Vista Peak trailhead to witness the High Sierra and the valley.

Day 14
Visalia - Yosemite National Park - Oakhurst (183 miles)
Today you’ll be hitting the road again and travelling to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. You’ll see some of the iconic sights today, including the Half Dome, El Capitan and Bridalveil Fall.

Day 15
Oakhurst - Yosemite National Park - Oakhurst (96 miles)
A fantastic day of hiking. From the valley floor, you’ll take the park shuttle system to one of the most well-known trails. The trail takes you past the Merced River to the Mist Trail, getting sprayed by the Vernal Fall before climbing the steps to Nevada Fall. From here, you’ll enjoy amazing views of the High Sierra.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore as you wish or how about renting a bike?

Day 16
Oakhurst - San Francisco (143 miles)
Depart Yosemite in the morning and travel across the Central Valley to San Francisco. Once there, you’ll enjoy a driving tour of the city, before heading to the Haight Ashbury neighbourhood for lunch and a drive through Golden Gate Park. The evening is free for you to explore Fisherman’s Wharf. Optional activities include a cable car ride in San Francisco, or a sunset sailing cruise.

Day 17
San Francisco – Monterey (120 miles)
The morning is free for you to explore the city. In the afternoon, you’ll travel to the coastal town of Monterey for more free time. Why not head down to Cannery Row to browse through the boutique shops and art galleries.

Day 18
Monterey – Santa Maria (172 miles)
Spend the morning driving down Highway 1 to Santa Maria, stopping at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park for gorgeous views of the Pacific Coast. Santa Maria is known for its incredible wines and barbecue. The afternoon is free to explore the area for yourself and enjoy the sunny climate.

Day 19
Santa Maria – Los Angeles (160 miles)
Today marks the end of your tour. You’ll be transferred to Los Angeles for your departing flight*.
