Day 1

Anchorage

Fly into Anchorage, Alaska and make your way independently to your hotel. Get settled and meet your CEO and fellow travellers for further details about your tour. Afterward, you can choose to join the group for a local meal or explore at your leisure. Be sure to check the notice in the lobby or ask at reception for the official time and location to meet up with the group.

Day 2

Anchorage to Seward (127 miles)

Drive south through the Kenai Peninsula on the scenic Seward Highway, passing cliffs, ocean, and the Chugach National Forest. Hike the Harding Icefield Trail to view the massive Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park. Depart Anchorage in the morning and explore the southern tip of the Peninsula, discovering the fjords’ history, natural science, and remote beauty—a truly unforgettable Alaskan adventure.

Day 3

Seward

Enjoy a free day to explore Seward and its surroundings. For an enhanced experience, opt for additional excursions at extra cost, including hiking the Tonsina Creek Trail, a Kenai Fjords National Park cruise, or a Sea Kayaking tour. Make the most of your time in this beautiful region!

Day 4

Seeward to Talkeetna (156 miles)

Travel north to quaint Talkeetna. Visit the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Museum and learn all about this historical event. Opt to take a scenic flight over the area, float by raft or go further afield by jet boat on the Talkeetna River to learn about local flora, fauna and early settlers to the area, or stay in town to shop or sample beer from the local microbrewery.

Day 5

Talkeetna – Denali National Park (156 miles)

Head north, keeping your camera ready to capture the stunning scenery en route to Denali National Park. Enjoy a dog sledding demonstration and choose to hike in the park.

You'll have plenty of time to explore Denali National Park. Opt to hike one of its many trails and discover the dynamic glaciated landscape, with its vast rivers, numerous lakes and ponds, and unique landforms that form the foundation of the diverse ecosystems thriving within the park.

Day 6

Denali National Park

Spend the day exploring Denali National Park, immersing yourself in its stunning flora, fauna, and towering mountains. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including moose, bears, and caribou! You'll have a full day to wander freely, with the opportunity to hike trails like Mount Healy and Horseshoe Lake, allowing you to fully appreciate the park’s natural beauty and unique landscapes.

Overnight: Denali Perch Resort or similar. Breakfast and lunch included

Day 7

Denali National Park to Anchorage (230 miles)

Bid farewell to Denali National Park and journey back to Anchorage. Choose to join the group for a farewell dinner to round off your adventure.

Anchorage

Enjoy your last day in Anchorage and get last minute souvenirs before making your way independently to the airport for your flight home

This journey is not particularly physically demanding, but the limited space in the van and long drive days can be challenging.
